WHY BABU IN BAMBOO
The characteristics of bamboo while planting, it's remarkable properties as a material and its current applications in the world create a wide range of possible uses with the potential to respond to a development that provides greater social equity, improvement of the environment and increase the quality of life.
Thus, the growth of the world population has provoked strong pressures in the environment providing a decrease in the quantity and the quality of the forest resources contributing in this way, to the interest of new vegetal resources as is the case of the use of the bamboo. In this way the bamboo was rediscovered as a renewable and non-polluting resource.
At present, where sustainable development is no longer an option, but a necessity, bamboo can be used in abundant ways and replace many materials in the manufacture of various products due to the less time of growth and ability to be an environmental regenerator.

F.A.Q.
1-Where are the Babu toothbrushes made
The Babu are produced in Asia, where the bamboo of our cables is located. The plant is the moso bamboo (Phyllostachys Edulis), being one of the species of bamboo with greater rate of growth of the world, not compromising the ecosystem since it is not edible for several species, like the pandas.
2- What material are Babu toothbrushes made of?
The bristle material is BPA-free nylon and as there are no biodegradable alternatives (excluding pig hairs which, although biodegradable, are terrible in many respects), we advise you to cut the bristles after using the brush and place in the ecoponto.
3- How long does the brush last?
The average time is between 2 and 3 months of use, but depends on several factors, such as the hardness of the chosen bristle, the pressure exerted during brushing, the number of daily uses, among others. The best way to analyze the durability of the brush is to observe the conservation of the bristles: when the bristles already have a high wear it means that it is time to change it.
4- After brushing, where should I store the toothbrush?
Since bamboo is an absorbent material, it is advisable after brushing to leave your Babu in a dry place and / or without permanent contact with water to avoid moisture. Being in contact with moisture, Babu looks darker.
5- What to do with the toothbrush when it is finished?
When you change your Babu, we advise you to cut the bristles and put them in the ecoponto. Except for the bristles, all the rest of the material is biodegradable so we advise you to put the packaging in the blue ecoponto of the paper and the cable itself can even bury next to a tree, for example.
